If you are a foreigner and you are interested in studying in Buenos Aires, you have to know that Buenos Aires was rated as the best city to study in Latin America according to the sixth edition of the ranking of the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). Also, the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) is internationally recognized for its excellent academic level. In the last edition of the World Ranking of Universities, prepared by the same consultant, it reached the 73rd position worldwide, being first in Latin America.
Admission to the University of Buenos Aires and the course is unrestricted, free and without an entrance exam for both national and foreign students. The UBA has certain requirements for its foreign students, and specifically for non-Spanish speakers. You can consult its practical guide for foreign entrants to the UBA, but we provide you with the most useful and necessary information. If you completed secondary or university studies in a non-Spanish speaking country, you must prove the minimum required level of Spanish language (Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). First of all, the ideal is that you approach the language and take the opportunity to learn Spanish in Buenos Aires. In CUI we have several Spanish courses for foreigners with the objective of achieving mastery of the language in all its competences. Then, you can certify your level of Spanish through various official exams, such as SIELE (International Service for the Evaluation of the Spanish Language) S5 modality or Global B2 modality.
CUI is an official SIELE examining center. We have appropriate facilities so you can perform in a comfortable and quiet environment, where you will be able to be alone to concentrate and take the exam without discomfort. We offer several exam places per day throughout the year. You can check the available ones for the exam you want, or write to us so we can arrange an exam timetable appropriate to your needs.
The first thing that you have to define if you are already in Buenos Aires is what type of exam you want to take, then choose the center where to take it (Autonomous City of Buenos Aires), in order to visualize all the dates and times available at CUI.
Do not forget to bring the identity document which you have registered with, come here 20 minutes before the exam and bring the email and password with which you have signed up.
