Are you taking any of our Spanish Courses in Buenos Aires and you happen to love playing GO? Remember you can play GO in Buenos Aires at CUI every week!
The GO is a strategy board game for two people. It originated in China more than 2500 years ago. It was considered one of the four essential arts of Chinese antiquity. The objective of the game, whose approximate translation is “to surround”, is to control an amount of territory greater than that of the opponent. To control an area, you must surround yourself with stones. Wins the player who controls the most territory at the end of the game.
The game consists of placing the stones at the intersections of the board. Before starting, each player is assigned a color. Black starts the game and once a stone is placed, it can not be moved again. You can capture a stone or a set of stones and remove them from the board if they are completely surrounded by stones of another color.
Encourage yourself and came to play GO at CUI every Wednesday at 6 pm at the Headquarters Center (Junin 222).
